This Privacy Policy defines the procedure for processing and protecting the personal data of users of the NeoFood service (the "Service"), operated by Individual Entrepreneur Alexey Vladimirovich Lukovsky.

Information We Collect

When you use the Service, we may collect the following information:

• User identifier in Telegram messenger (when signing in via Telegram)
• Username and Telegram name or the email address entered by the user
• Subscription and payment data
• Meal history (meal photos, text descriptions, nutrient data)
• Weight and physical parameters (height, weight goal, activity level)
• Public profile data (handle, display name, avatar, profile description)
• Social connections (whom you follow and who follows you)
• Comments, reactions and text notes you add to meals
• Content reports you submit and the list of users you have blocked
• Technical information about Service usage (request logs, errors)
• User settings (preferred language, time zone, measurement units)

How We Use Information

The collected information is used to:

• Provide and improve the Service
• Perform AI meal analysis and calculate nutrients (calories and macros)
• Calculate individual calorie targets and support weight tracking
• Provide social features: profiles, subscriptions, feed, comments and reactions
• Moderate user-generated content and handle abuse reports
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Communicate with users on support matters
• Analyze and improve Service performance
• Prevent fraud and abuse

Data Protection

We apply technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, there is no absolute security on the internet, and we cannot guarantee complete data protection.

Data is stored in a protected database and is available only to authorized personnel for the purpose of providing the Service.

Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not share your personal data with third parties except when required for the operation of the Service:

• OpenRouter / AI models (Claude, GPT, and others) — to analyze meal photos and recognize nutrition composition (your photos and meal text descriptions are sent to AI services for processing)
• Other users of the Service — only through the social features and only at your own initiative, see the section below
• Payment systems — to process payments and manage subscriptions
• Telegram — to deliver notifications and authorize users through the Mini App
• Apple (Apple Push Notification service) — to deliver push notifications to iOS devices
• When required by law or to protect our rights

Please note that when you use the AI meal analysis feature, your photos and meal descriptions are sent to AI services for processing. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of those services.

Social Features and Data Visible to Other Users

By default your profile is private and your food diary is visible to you alone. Your data becomes available to other users only as a result of your own action: making your profile public, or issuing an invitation link to it.

When your diary is open to a subscriber, they see the following for each of your meals:

• Meal photos
• The text description and the note you added to the meal
• Calories, protein, fat, carbohydrates and fiber
• The composition of the meal broken down by item, with portion weights
• Your display name, handle, avatar and profile description

The following is never shown to other users: your body measurements, daily totals, AI coach recommendations, unsaved meal drafts, email address, and payment and subscription data.

Your weight, weight goal and daily nutrition targets are governed by a separate setting. They are hidden by default and are not covered by your profile privacy mode: they become visible to your subscribers only if you separately enable the «Show weight, goal and calorie target to subscribers» option in the settings. While it is enabled, subscribers see your current weight, the history of your weight measurements, your weight goal and your daily calorie and macronutrient targets. You can turn the option off at any time. Your body measurements are never shown to other users under any settings.

Comments and reactions you leave are visible to every user who has access to the corresponding meal.

You can revoke access at any time: switch your profile back to private, remove a subscriber, revoke an invitation link, or block a user. Please note that we are unable to recall copies of content that other users have already saved or captured on screen.

Content Moderation

We have zero tolerance for offensive content and abusive behaviour. Any user can report a meal, a comment or a profile. We review reports within 24 hours and may hide or delete the content and terminate the offender's access to the Service.

We retain reports, moderation decisions and blocking records for as long as necessary to keep users safe and to prevent repeat violations, including after the reported content itself has been deleted.

Data Storage

We store your data for as long as necessary to provide the Service or for the period required by law. Meal history and weight data are stored to maintain access to your diary.

Meal photos may be automatically deleted after a certain period to optimize storage.

When you delete your account, your profile, meal history, notes, comments, reactions, subscriptions and invitation links are deleted as well. Records of reports and moderation decisions may be retained in de-personalized form.

User Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent to data processing
• Stop publishing your data to other users at any time by switching your profile back to private
• Restrict the processing of personal data
• Receive a copy of your data in a structured format
